Man Utd unveil new 2024/25 Adidas kit as fans all say the same thing
Manchester United fans have given the club's new home kit an overwhelming seal of approval on social media after the strip was unveiled on Monday morning.
The Red Devils and Adidas shared images of the new kit, which will be worn for all home games and a selection of away matches during the upcoming 2024/25 campaign, on social media. The red shirt's design takes inspiration from classic shirts worn by the Busby Babes and features the club's new front of shirt sponsor, Snapdragon.
It's been outlined that the shirt has been designed to appear as different shades of red depending on where fans are sat at Old Trafford in an unusual quirk.
The new strip, modelled by Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund, has gone down a storm with fans on social media, with the majority lauding the respectful nod to one of the greatest teams in Manchester United history.
One fan on social media shared the kit with the message: "Best home shirt we've released in years," while another said in praise: "Can't say a bad word about it. Love it."
Other fans continued to shower the shirt with praise. One wrote on X: "I love this I can’t lie," while another United fan said: "Adidas outdid themselves on this one."
The design of the shirt is inspired by the reflective kits worn by the Busby Babes back in 1952. The gradient of light to dark red which runs down the shirt will improve visibility under floodlights during night games.

Manchester United agreed a £60million deal with Qualcomm Snapdragon back in September which would see the US technology firm replace Teamviewer as the club's front of shirt sponsor.
The full details of the agreement were not released by the club but The Athletic revealed that the deal will see Snapdragon feature on United's playing kit for at least three seasons.
United will kick off the new Premier League campaign with a home match against Fulham next month. Prior to that, the Red Devils will face Rangers, Arsenal and Liverpool in friendlies during pre-season.
