Less than a week after the conclusion of the NHL season, the draft is here. This year's draft will be held at MSG sphere in Las Vegas, the first time the venue has hosted the event.
The San Jose Sharks own the first pick, with the Chicago Blackhawks and the Anaheim Ducks owning the next two picks.
Center Macklin Celebrini is believed by many to be the first one off the board, heading to the Sharks. The Boston University product became the youngest player to take home Hobey Baker Award this past season. After Celebrini, a few of the other top prospects include right winger Ivan Demidov from Russia, defenseman Artyon Levshunov from Michigan State; and another defenseman in Zeev Buium, from Denver University.

How to stream the 2024 NHL Draft

Round 1 of the NHL Draft can be seen on ESPN in the U.S. at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. local time in Las Vegas on Friday. The remaining rounds of the Draft can be seen on NHL Network, with coverage starting at 11:30 a.m. ET/ 8:30 a.m. local time on Saturday.
In Canada, viewers can watch the draft coverage on Sportsnet, with the French feed courtesy of TVA Sports.
Fans in the U.S. can stream the draft in various ways, including Fubo, which offers a free trial for those without cable or satellite. Fans in Canada can stream the draft on SN Now.
