‘Skeem Saam’s Bongani Masondo ‘Baby Maker’ joins ‘Umkhokha’
Voice-over artist and former Skeem Saam actor Bongani Masondo has joined faith-based telenovela, Umkhokha: The now as a writer.

Briefly reports that former Skeem Saam actor Bongani Masondo has landed a writing gig on Mzansi Magic’s Umkhokha: The Curse.
The AFDA graduate reportedly joined the second season of Umkhokha: The Curse in 2023 as an assistant writer.
Umkhokha revolves around the battle between the Mthembu and Mzobe families for the leadership of Ithempile Lenkosi church.
TVSA reports that Masondo is an AFDA (Africa Film Drama Art) who also starred in Tshisa as Bafana and Ambitions as Vusi Mthethwa

BABYMAKER IN ‘SKEEM SAAM’
The actor Bongani Masondo exited Skeem Saam in season five following a salary dispute with the educational soapie.
Masondo reprised his Skeem Saam role as Babymaker in 2021. He then returned at Leeto Maputla’s (Eric Macheru) divorce party on 13 July and again on 23 July.
Masondo’s character is a troublemaker, a ladies’ man, and Lelo Mthiyane’s (Amanda du Pont) baby daddy.
He also briefly dated Lizzy Thobakgale, who is now Dr Lizzy Seakamela (Amanda Manku) and married to Kwaito (Clement Maosa).
