Therese Malvar, Seb Pajarillo graduate from college with Latin honors

Sparkle artists Therese Malvar and Seb Pajarillo just graduated from college, and with Latin honors to boot!

On Instagram, Sparkle GMA Artist Center congratulated the two for finishing college with flying colors at the Meridian International Business, Arts and Technology (MINT) College.

"Your Sparkle family is very proud of you two," Sparkle wrote in the caption.

Therese graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video, whereas Seb graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship. He was also awarded a Community Distinction Honor medal.

Therese marked the special occasion on Instagram Stories, where she shared snaps and clips of her with her parents and friends. She donned an elegant black dress from Whoopy Clothing for the event. Her handler, Robert Dela Cruz Mendoza, also attended her graduation.

Actor-singer Seb also shared a photo of his awards, as well as a clip of him receiving his diploma onstage with his parents, on Instagram Stories.

Therese visited Malaysia in 2023 for the ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA), where she represented her film with director Louie Ignacio, "Broken Blooms." The film was among the 10 Filipino movies shortlisted for AIFFA and has also won several awards at various international film festivals.

In 2022, Therese served as a First Feature Competition jury at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia.

Meanwhile, Seb is part of GMA Playlist, GMA Music's sub-label, where he and other young Kapuso artists create hip and new music for millennials and Gen Z music lovers alike.
