Caitlin Clark Catches Hilarious Stray During ESPN NBA Draft Broadcast
The first round of the 2024 NBA Draft took place on Wednesday.
The country of France had an excellent showing, as three of the draft's first six picks (No, 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, No. 2 overall pick Alex Sarr, and No. 6 overall pick Tidjane Salaün) are all Frenchmen.
Also of note is that Purdue center Zach Edey was selected with the 9th overall pick, which was higher than most mock drafts had him slotted.
But the funniest thing to come from Wednesday's draft excitement was a viral X post about Caitlin Clark.

At one point during the NBA Draft's broadcast, second overall pick Alex Sarr was shown on screen.
This prompted X account @RapsReport to write, "Don’t ask me to explain this, but Alex Sarr looks like Caitlin Clark," along with a screenshot of Sarr's face.
The post went supremely viral, currently having over 4 million views on X.
And fans agree with the hilarious take.
"I’m mad cuz I can’t explain it but I also can’t disagree," one fan replied.
"They both look like Candace from Phineas & Ferb if you see it," said another.
There's certainly a resemblance there.
