Steelers QB Russell Wilson training with Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf
There has been so much chatter surrounding the moves the Pittsburgh Steelers have made this offseason, and the transactions they have yet to make - most notably at the receiver position. While the Steelers acquired both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields at quarterback, they also sent away wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers, which left a hole that is still unfilled.
One name that has been floated by Steelers fans and media alike to fill the need at receiver is Wilson’s former teammate in Seattle, DK Metcalf. And oddly enough, the two have been training together in California at UCLA’s campus.
The Steelers have reportedly reached out to at least six teams about a possible trade for a receiver, according to Benjamin Allbright, who noted that Seattle was one of those teams back in April.
Could Metcalf end up being traded to Pittsburgh? It seems unlikely, but not impossible.
