Cat Deeley says 'I'm fuming' as she explodes during This Morning money-saving segment

Jordon Cox irritated Cat Deeley as the pair chatted about the pink tax weighing on products advertised to women.

This Morning's "Coupon King" was back on the set of the ITV programme this Wednesday, June 26, as he shared his latest money-saving tips with Cat and co-presenter Ben Shephard.

But as he did so, he let Cat Know of the existence of a "pink tax" on razors that had attracted her attention, a term which refers to the practice of charging more for products and services marketed for women, in contrast with similar and lower-cost products for men.

While Jordon let the presenters know that the pink tax wasn't always applied, he added that it "still happens a little bit", adding that a woman buying a pack of razors would be buying less razors than her male counter part, despite paying more than him.

To top it all off, female buyers pay more for the fragrance and colour of razor, which left Cat sarcastically laughing as the frustration built up. Jordon made the same distinction with shaving cream and Cat was no longer able to contain her dismay.

"I'm fuming! I'm fuming with this pink tax", she raged, "I am thoroughly irritated, definitely putting that one in the bag." Cat then threw the tube of shaving cream she was holding in her hands in a bin placed in front of her. She then revealed she grew into the habit of buying "little boy socks" to avoid the tax.

Some viewers couldn't help but criticise Cat for seemingly being unaware of the pink tax on shaving products as one notably penned on X, otherwise known as Twitter: "Shouldn't be shocked that Cat has never heard of the pink tax. The lack of general knowledge by presenters these day. Dear oh dear."

Cat has recently shared troubling news about her husband Patrick Kielty as she revealed to This Morning viewers he was suffering from shingles as she and Ben spoke about the condition's impact on the over-50s. Speaking about how the RTE Late Late Show presenter had no idea he was suffering from shingles, mistaking it for an irritation, Cat said: "He thought he'd touched his face. He'd got this burning, tingling, stinging sensation, so that's what he thought it was."

Doctor Sara Kayat was then prompted to share the warning signs to be on the lookout for: "Firstly you tend to get this tingly, burning sensation. You may also notice you're feeling more fatigued you've got a headache, you're tired. You might even have a bit of a temperature." The TV personality then revealed that the rash then progresses, clarifying that it can appear "anywhere" on the body.
