Ukrainian forces conduct position change near Lukiantsi in Kharkiv region

Ukrainian troops changed their positions in Lukiantsi, Kharkiv region. Such actions were taken to save the lives of Ukrainian defenders amid systematic Russian guided aerial bomb attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the Kharkiv direction, units of Ukrainian troops repelled one Russian attack in the direction of Shebekino (Russia) - Vovchansk, the situation is under control," the statement says.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command, as a result of intense Russian air strikes with the use of 10 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian units, to save the lives of servicemen, positions were changed near the village of Lukiantsi.
"Combat actions continue," the General Staff of the Armed Forces summarizes the situation.
Situation in other areas of Kharkiv region
In addition, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, Russia is currently trying to advance in the Lipetsk direction, but its "success is, accordingly, quite conditional."
"They are also attacking in the Vovchansk direction. At the moment, small arms battles are taking place on the northern outskirts of Vovchansk," he says.
According to him, Ukrainian soldiers are trying to stabilize the front line in all areas where Russians are trying to advance.
Situation in Kharkiv direction
As reported the day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the situation in the Kharkiv direction remains complicated and is changing dynamically.
In particular, there are active battles for Vovchansk. According to the Ukrainian military command, Russia has sent significant forces of up to 5 battalions to attack the city and is not counting its losses.
In addition, the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, speaking about the situation at the front, says in an interview with the NYT that the situation at the front is approaching critical.
