Man arrested after cops find woman’s dead body in Russell Lea home
Police have arrested a man after a woman’s body was found at a home in the Sydney’s inner west following reports of a domestic incident.
NSW Police were called to a home on Clements St in Russell Lea, where officers arrived to find the deceased woman, believed to be in her 50s.
A 42-year-old man who police confirmed was known to the woman was arrested at the scene, and has been taken to Burwood Police Station.
A statement from NSW Police said he is assisting with inquiries.
Police have established a crime scene and detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
