Tesco meal deal: what new products have been added?
Budget lunch lovers rejoice – Tesco has added a series of new products to its famous meal deal.
Meal deals have become a quintessential feature of UK lunchtimes thanks to their cost-effective nature, and Tesco’s offerings may now be among the best.
From this week, stores are offering a collection of 20 new food items, from Mexican-style subs to chargrilled chicken salads, there’s an option for everyone within Tesco’s new collection of meal deal foods.
Tesco has also made a number of improvements, like thicker bread, richer mayonnaise, and general improvements to the quality of their ingredients.
For just £3.40 with a club card, you can pair all of the new meals with a drink and snack.
The retailer is also offering premium meal deal options, and limited edition treats, including a Korean-Style Fried Chicken & Rice Salad, and a Middle Eastern-style British Chicken & Tabbouleh Salad.

According to Matthew Kay, group brand director at Tesco, the team has been working on the improvements for quite some time and is pleased with the results.
He said: “We are thrilled to introduce these significant improvements to our meal deal. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that every ingredient meets the highest standards of quality and flavour, with the goal of providing a meal deal that's not only convenient but also delicious.
“We believe our customers will love the new options or the enhancements to their favourites, and can't wait for them to try out the range."
