Battles rage across almost entire Russia-Ukraine frontline, says General Staff

Fighting continues in almost all sections of Russia-Ukraine frontline. The greatest activity of the Russian troops is recorded in the Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, and Pokrovsk directions, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 73 combat clashes.

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian army launched eight attacks in the areas of Hlyboke - Slobozhanske, Shebekino (Russia) - Vovchansk, Borysivka - Vesele, and unsuccessfully tried to advance towards Lyptsi and Neskuchne.

In theKupiansk sector, six clashes have taken place in the areas of Synkivka, Berestove, Stelmakhivka, and Miasozharivka since the beginning of the day.

In the Lyman sector, one combat clash took place near Ivanivka.

The number of hostile attacks in the Kramatorsk sector increased to eight. In particular, they were registered in the areas of Bakhmut - Novyi, Bakhmut - Klishchiivka, Odradivka - Klishchiivka, Mykolaivka - Bila Hora. In addition, the Russian military conducted two air strikes.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy is the most active, since the beginning of the day they have conducted 24 attacks, in particular, in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Yevhenivka, and Netailove. They used combat aircraft twice - near Vozdvyzhenka and Yevhenivka.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled six enemy attacks. Russian invaders were active in the areas of Maryinka - Heorhiivka and Slavne - Novomykhailivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian troops made four unsuccessful attempts to storm Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy attacked three times near Krynky. The enemy suffered losses. They shelled the areas of Krynky, Tokarivka, Stanislav, Ivanivka, Tiahynka and Zmiivka with artillery.

The situation remained unchanged in the Siversk, Toretsk, Vremivka, and Huliaipole sectors.

"Ukrainian soldiers are acting decisively and selflessly. They are doing everything to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into our territory and disrupting its plans," the statement said.

Situation in Kharkiv region

Russian aggressors launched an offensive in the northeast of the Kharkiv region. According to National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko, more than 30,000 Russian fighters are involved in the attacks on the Kharkiv region.

The head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the operational phase of the Russian border operation in the Kharkiv region was currently underway. However, Ukrainian forces have already managed to block the enemy.
