Yash becomes a 50-50 partner in his upcoming films ‘Toxic’ and ‘Ramayana’
In the Indian film industry, the name Yash isn’t just a name but a plethora of emotions. The actor-producer has enthralled audiences with his massive action thriller franchise ‘KGF’, and since then, his character as Rocky Bhai has become a cult. It’s known to all that ‘KGF’ was a pathbreaking Kannada cinema and the man behind showing the dreams of getting a huge success pan-India was Yash.
Yash didn’t limit himself with his acting prowess and now, by breaking the shackles, he has become a producer with his own banner Monster Mind Creations. Being a producer, he backs two of the biggest films of 2025, ‘Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown Ups’ in association with KVN Productions and Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. Both these films had already created an anticipation among the audiences for its larger-than-life concept.
Yash’s involvement is not only as a creative producer but also he is equally supervising the entire production process. His maiden venture ‘Toxic’ underscores his keen understanding of the filmmaking process beyond just acting. As a producer, he has demonstrated a keen eye for impeccable storytelling and a willingness to take risks on this ambitious project. By backing ‘Toxic’, he is also fostering a culture of innovation in the Indian Cinema as well.
On the other hand, ‘Ramayana’ which stands out to be a timeless epic holds immense cultural significance and Yash’s involvement in the project adds a contemporary touch to the classic tale making the audience wait for his new avatar.
But that’s not all as Yash also gets an equal stake in both ‘Toxic’ and ‘Ramayana’.
As a source revealed, Yash was offered Rs 150 crore for each part of ‘Ramayana’ by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus, but looking at the dynamics and stakes, they both decided to partner the film together at an equal share and present it to the World. Not only in Ramayana, but the actor also signed up a massive deal with KVN Productions and became the equal stakeholder of the film. Research says that if these films work on a bigger scale, Yash will be one of the talismans of the Indian film industry by being the most successful actor-producer.
Speaking on the collaboration with Yash for ‘Toxic’, Venkat K Narayana said, “KVN Productions is an ambitious production house driven by the goal of creating high-quality, entertaining films. Yash has been a wonderful friend and strategic partner for me in Toxic and other things. He has a great vision, passion and puts in relentless effort to ensure everything is picture-perfect. His business acumen, ability to think ahead of time and nurture talent are amazing. Together, we’re working on making ‘Toxic’ our flagship collaboration – a global dream for Indian cinema.
