Dividend Stocks: Largecap stock announces ₹205 per share dividend; record date fixed

Largecap company Bosch Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of technology and services in India, on Tuesday announced an interim dividend of ₹205 per share for the financial year 2023-24. The record date for the same has been fixed on February 23, 2024.

“The Board of Directors at their meeting held today, declared an interim dividend of ₹205 per share for the financial year 2023-24 on 29,493,640 equity shares of ₹10 each payable to those shareholders whose names stand on the Register of Members of the company as on the record date Friday, February 23, 2024. The dividend will be paid on or after March 6, 2024,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

While announcing a dividend, the company also declared its third quarter results, registering a jump of 62.46% in its consolidated net profit after tax (PAT) at ₹518 crore, compared to ₹318.9 crore in the same period a year ago.

Bosch’s revenue soared 15% to ₹4,205.2 crore as against ₹3,659.9 crore in the year-ago period.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation or EBITDA rose 43% to ₹578.4 crore, compared to ₹403.7 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Margin stood at 13.8% vs 11% YoY.

Shares of Bosch Ltd settled 6.98% higher at ₹27,000 apiece on the NSE today. The stock has risen 20.36% since the beginning of this year and it has rallied 55.06% in the last one year.
