Carmakers SAIC and Volkswagen sign energy technology cooperation agreements

BEIJING (Reuters) - China's SAIC Motor and German carmaker Volkswagen have signed several energy technology cooperation agreements related to their SAIC Volkswagen joint venture in China.
The companies expect that a number of jointly developed plug-in hybrid and pure electric models will be launched from 2026, SAIC Volkswagen said in a statement.
