Shark Tank India 3: 4 Sharks offer a deal and ask Aman Gupta to join; latter refuses saying ‘too many cooks spoil the broth’

The latest episode of Shark Tank India 3, introduced new shark Radhika Gupta. The first pitcher is Arpita Aditi, a virtual restaurant operator. Her ask is Rs 50 Lakhs for 0.5% equity.

The Sharks discuss her food products, the quality and freshness of it. Everyone is impressed by Arpita’s vision and Vineeta offers her the amount she asked for. New Shark Radhika says, “You are a damn good businesswoman. Every 5 minutes into the conversation apne mera dil incredibly jeeta hai. You have a control over finances.”

She doesn’t make an offer and wishes to join Vineeta in the deal. Ritesh also joins them. He give her two offers on the trio’s behalf. Offer 1: Rs 1 crore for 1% equity. Offer 2: Rs 1.5 cr for 1.5% equity.

Peyush praises her saying that she has a very calm demeanour. He also wishes to join saying, “I think everyone wants to own atleast half a per cent of your business to make it worth their time.” He offers to add Rs 50 lakh, raising the offer to Rs 2 crore for 2% equity.

He asks if Aman Gupta would also like to join them making it an all-sharks deal. Aman refuses saying, “Too many cooks spoil the broth. Don’t you think, it will be too much?” Vineeta raises the equity from 2 to 2.67% equity and Arpita takes the 4-Sharks deal.

Another pitchers were mother and son duo Jovita and Jordan, who sell drink mixers. Vineeta looked excited as she has used their brand before. Their ask is Rs 1 crore for 2.5% equity.

Seeing them Vineeta tells them, “First you need to proof that you are his mom.”

All the Sharks are very impressed with their products. They speaking highly of their brand. Vineeta makes a non-negotiable offer – Rs 48 lakh for 3% equity + Rs 52 lakh debt at 8% interest for 3 years.

Jordan and Jovita decline the offer saying that they are not willing to get into debt. Vineeta says, “Your biggest job is don’t let it shut down because you run out of money.” Radhika adds telling them to get good financial help.
