Update on Chiranjeevi’s upcoming ‘Vishwabhara’

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently immersed in the filming of his upcoming socio-fantasy mega film ‘Vishwabhara’, under the direction of Vassisht Mallidi, which is announced for release on January 10, 2025. The film is currently filming intense action sequences in a specially constructed forest set at Ramoji Film City.

According to a report by Gulte, Chiranjeevi is shooting a particular action sequence without the use of a body double, which makes it unique and demonstrates his devotion to giving real performances at the age of 68 years. Prior to the filming, Chiranjeevi had shared an intense workout clip on his social media handle, preparing himself for the role.

In addition, there is water, mud, and dust present in the action, with Chiranjeevi and the other fighters completely submerged in the wet mud throughout the scene. To achieve a realistic look, the production team has created mud from real sand, using it daily despite causing discomfort to the actors and fighters involved.

Insiders to the production team have praised the action sequence’s amazing conclusion, speculating that it will outperform earlier Tollywood mud fight scenes. ‘Vishwambhara’ is expected to feature stunning visual effects as seen in the teaser released during the announcement of the film, in addition to showcasing Chiranjeevi’s skill.

‘Vishwambhara’ features Trisha Krishnan seen opposite Chiranjeevi in the leading role. The film also has Surbhi Purnaik, Ramya Pasupaleti and others in the key roles. More details about the cast of the film are still not known.
