trump attends nypd cop jonathan diller funeral supporters slam biden and obama for prioritizing new york fundraiser
Presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 US election, Donald Trump, attended the funeral of Jonathan Diller – NYPD officer shot dead in Queens on March 25 – while former president Barrack Obama and Joe Biden were also in New York for a fund raiser with Lizzo and Stephen Colbert.
Supporters of the former president slammed Obama and Biden on social media for prioritising the fundraiser and not attending the funeral.
“Today 4 living presidents are in NYC. 3 are going to a fundraising event with Stephen Colbert and Lizzo. 1 is at a wake for a slain NYPD Officer. Speaks Volumes,” conservative political commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson said.
