Train stabbing incident: Kevin Pietersen slams London mayor Sadiq Khan

NEW DELHI: Following a horrific stabbing incident on the train between Shortlands and Beckenham on Thursday, March 28, former England captain Kevin Pietersen criticised Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London.

A person can be seen repeatedly slashing and attacking someone on a moving train at Beckenham Junction in a video that went popular on social media.

According to reports, two men entered Shortlands Railway Station, stabbing the victim, who thereafter suffered significant injuries. The victim had life-threatening injuries and was sent to the hospital right away.

Pietersen posted a video on his X account of the London train stabbing event. He said that the city has turned into a “disgusting of a place” and that people are afraid to carry expensive things around the city for fear of violence or thievery.

Kevin Pietersen also took aim at Sajid Khan, saying that his policies were causing chaos in London.

In India at the moment, Pietersen is providing commentary for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He works as a commentator for the tournament’s broadcaster.

On Tuesday, Pietersen had posed a video of the brand new airport in Bangalore calling it “absolutely WORLD CLASS.”
