‘The Family Star’ box office Day 7: Vijay Deverakonda film earns its lowest

Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur’s recently released film, ‘The Family Star’ earned less than Rs 1 crore at the domestic box office. This is its lowest-ever collection since its release. Directed by Parasuram Petla, the film successfully completed a week in theatres and failed to even touch Rs 25 crore in theatres in India. ‘The Family Star’ received a lukewarm response from critics and audiences alike.Â

‘The Family Star’ hit theatres on April 5 amid huge expectations. The film was released in multiple languages.

The box office performance of ‘The Family Star’ has been dwindling over the past few days. For the last two days, the film has been earning less than Rs 1 crore in India. On Thursday, April 11, ‘The Family Star’ is estimated to have earned Rs 92 lakh net at the domestic box office.

Director Parasuram’s film completed a week in theatres and is estimated to have earned Rs 18 crore net at the box office in India. The film recorded an occupancy of 25.10 per cent on April 11.

Written and directed by Parasuram, ‘The Family Star’ is a romantic comedy featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur. The film is jointly produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Reportedly, the film was produced on a budget of Rs 50 crore.

‘The Family Star’ has music composed by Gopi Sundar, editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and cinematographer KU Mohanan.Â
