Apart from that, DMK also for the first time is fielding its own candidate after almost a decade. Ganapati will be representing the DMKAIADMK too has fielded its own candidate this time around, so it is going to be a tough battle as far as Coimbatore is concerned. It’s a triconnered contest in Coimbatore with the heavyweight Anna Malai representing the BJP. This time around, it’s clearly going to be a tough battle, but Anna Malai maintains that he’s confident that he and the party will make surprises in 2024 elections.
