We are talking about Abraham Ozler.

Abraham Ozler is a thriller movie based on nabbing a serial killer. The film received positive reviews from critics for the star cast’s exemplary performances, technical aspects and apt musical scores. The film emerged to be the highest-grossing film of the lead actor- Jayaram’s career and collected Rs 40.53 crore at the box office.

This Malayalam-language crime thriller is directed and co-produced by Midhun Manuel Thomas and written by Randheer Krishnan. It stars Jayaram with Mammootty, Anaswara Rajan, Anoop Menon, Arjun Ashokan, Arya Salim, Senthil Krishna, Jagadish, Saiju Kurup and Dileesh Pothan in supporting roles. The film is about ACP Abraham Ozler, who investigates the death of an IT employee. The murderer is a serial killer and is known as Birthday Killer. The story will keep you hooked till the end.

ACP Abraham Ozler is devastated when a fake police call lures him away and leads to the brutal death of his wife and daughter, whose bodies have been cut into pieces and buried in parts of the forest. Culprit Vineeth confesses to the murder but could not remember where he buried all the body parts as he was high on narcotics drug. While struggling in his personal life with insomnia and hallucinations, he investigates a series of murders with his team, where the murderers leave behind a cryptic note at the crime scene. The plot gets thick and unravels other mysteries.

Director John Manthrickal narrated a story to Midhun Manuel Thomas which Randheer Krishnan wrote. Midhun decided to direct the film and the official announcement was made in May 2023. The film was shot extensively in Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore and Wayanad. It is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
