Dhanush’s son Yatra to step into the field of cinematography with ‘Raayan’

Actor Dhanush is now busy working on the post-production of his film ‘Raayan’. Directed by Dhanush, the movie marks his second directoral and it features Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Dushara Vijayan among others. The gangster drama is all gearing up for its release in Summer this year.

Apart from the stellar cast, the movie’s music is composed by AR Rahman and the new update that has captured everyone’s attention is that Dhanush’s son Yatra is also making his debut in the film industry with ‘Raayan’. Though he has made his acting debut earlier, Yatra has reportedly decided to take up a career in cinematography. According to media reports, Yatra is not interested to work as an actor, but has decided to explore his passion on cinmeatography.

The makers have not yet made the official announcement and it is unclear if Yatra will be heading the cinematography or be part of the team that is headed by Dhanush and learn the techniques from his father and uncle Selvaraghavan. On the work front, Dhanush has his next film ‘DNS’ – with Sekhar Kammula which stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. He also has his Bollywood film ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ with Anand L Rai.
