Tata Chemicals reported a decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 158 crore in the December quarter. The company’s net profit stood at Rs 398 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, Tata Chemicals said in a regulatory filing. The chemicals maker’s revenue from operations of the company declined 10 per cent in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal year to Rs 3,730 crore from Rs 4,148 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.

Shares of Tata Chemicals closed in the green at Rs 1,122.45 up by 0.92 per cent on April 26. The stock witnessed an intraday high after trading at Rs 1,132.45 apiece during intraday trade, before the market closed.
