After witnessing a successful theatrical run, Prabhas’ blockbuster movie ‘Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire’ is all set to premiere on the OTT platform. The Prashanth Neel-directorial will be streaming on Netflix from January 20.

‘SALAAR’ OTT RELEASE 

‘Salaar’ has proved to be a record-breaker at the box office across. The high-octane actioner has earned more than Rs 400 crore in India. The film, which released in theatres on December 22, features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan among others in key roles. Despite mixed reviews, ‘Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire’ managed to become one of the highest grossers of 2023.

The movie, which received both critical acclaim and commercial success, is gearing up for its digital release, on January 20. The streaming service Netflix announced the film’s premiere on their platform, on January 19. Sharing a post on Instagram, they wrote, “Khansaar’s Salaar, Varadharaja Mannar’s Salaar is here, and you already know the war machine is UNSTOPPABLE! #Salaar is coming to Netflix on 20 January in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada (sic).”

ABOUT ‘SALAAR: PART ONE – CEASEFIRE’

‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is an action-packed drama written and helmed by Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame. This film marks the first collaboration between Prashanth and the film’s heroes, Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumran. Apart from them, the film also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, Sriya Reddy and several others in important roles.

The film’s second part is titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam’. In a recent interview, Prabhas revealed that the story is ready and an announcement regarding the shooting will be out soon.

Produced by Hombale Films, ‘Salaar’ was reportedly made on a humongous budget of Rs 400 crore.
