Tamil actor and director SJ Suryah is no stranger to the Malayalam audience.

The ace director, who became popular not just in Tamil Nadu but in Kerala too with films like Valee, Kushi, and New, as director, has also garnered a massive fan base as an actor as well, thanks to outstanding performances in films such as Mark Antony and Jigarthanda XXL.

Now, this performance powerhouse is all set to make his debut in Malayalam, and that too, with yet another powerhouse, Fahadh Faasil!

Both actors will be seen sharing screen space in director Vipin Das’s upcoming project.

Details of the Project

The yet-to-be-titled film, which is to be directed by Vipin Das of Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey fame, is touted to be a mass entertainer, and SJ Suryah is said to be playing a prominent role in it.

The film will reportedly go on floors this year and will star Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. The official announcement was made by producer N.M. Badusha on his Instagram handle with a caption in Malayalam that read, “SJ Suryah for the first time in Malayalam through Badusha Cinemas directed by Vipin Das.”

On the work front, SJ Suryah has quite a few projects in hand that include Indian 2, Love Insurance Corporation, Veera Dheera Sooran in Tamil, and Game Changer and Saripodha Sanivaaram in Telugu.

Meanwhile, director Vipin Das is currently working on his upcoming film Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Basil Joseph, and Nikhila Vimal in lead roles, which is set for release on May 16.
