Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition launched in India at Rs 17.70 lakh
Suzuki Motorcycle India today launched the Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition, priced at Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Unveiled in 1998 at Intermot, Germany, as the Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R, the legendary motorcycle’s sales started in 1999. Its production and sales in India commenced in 2016. The third-generation model, which is currently on sale, entered the market in 2021.
The motorcycle employs the same 1,340cc in-line 4-cylinder fuel injected liquid-cooled DOHC engine as the current third-generation Hayabusa. It is equipped with Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) with traction control systems and bi-directional quick shift systems.
Featuring a orange and black-based body, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition includes gold anodized drive chain adjuster and front brake disk inner, alongside original engravings on the muffler body and drive chain. There are the 25th anniversary emblem and three-dimensional SUZUKI logo on the tank. The single seat cowling now comes as a standard equipment on this celebratory edition.
“The Suzuki Hayabusa has been an icon of speed, style, and innovation for more than 25 years. With the launch of the 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition, we commemorate this remarkable journey and reaffirm our commitment to delivering motorcycles that engage with riders around the world. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our customers for their continued love and support that has fuelled the success of this motorcycle over the years,” said Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India.
The 25th Anniversary model of the Suzuki Hayabusa is now available at Suzuki dealerships across India.
