Sanjiv Bhasin Stocks, Top Picks: Veteran market expert Sanjiv Bhasin on Friday said that the correction in the stock market is due to Iran-Israel war and that it will “mark the end of much needed correction”. In an exclusive conversation with ET NOW, he said that the fall should be utilised as an opportunities to buy some good stocks.

“We had an excellent bull market and there was a much needed correction. This has added fuel to the fire,” he said.

Bhasin predicted that market would “mark the bottom maybe Monday or Tuesday”. “Whatever has to happen will happen over the weekend…”

“Such opportunities come once in many months and those are the times where you should be deploying some cash to good use,” the renowned market expert said.

Sanjiv Bhasin Stocks Recommendation – LIST

Bhasin said that select stocks are giving very good entry points which have been outperformers. The PSUs, defence stocks and some of the OMCs.”

He has recommended four stocks to buy in the dip. He said that ONGC, Vedanta Limited, Indiabulls Real Estate continue to be his top picks. He also named IDFC First Bank as his top pick.

He also recommended buying shares of largecap banks like Axis Bank, ICICI, Bank.

“Largecap banks are giving very good entry points. If the fear today could be near to the bottoming out of the near-terms correction, then you would find yourself in a sweet spot once this geopolitical risk subsides by hopefully next week,” he said.
