Randeep Hooda writes ‘Karma’ and thanks ‘unknown men’ after Sarabjit Singh’s killer is gunned down

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda thanked ‘unknown men’ for the killing of Sarabjit Singh’s killer Amir Sarfaraz in Pakistan.

Randeep Hooda had played the role of Indian prisoner in Pakistan jail Sarabjit Singh in the movie titled ‘Sarabjit’. Aishwarya Rai had played the role of Sarabjit’s sister in the critically acclaimed movie, which released in 2016.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) : “Thank you ‘Unknown Men’

Remembering my Sister Dalbir Kaur and sending love to Swapandeep and Poonam , today some justice to Martyr Sarabjit Singh has been served”

Amir Sarfaraz aka Tamba, was one of the wanted underworld don in Pakistan and he was shot at by motorcycle-borne assailants at his home in Lahore in the afternoon around 1.30 pm on Sunday. Sarfaraz later succumbed to his injuries.

Sarabjit Singh, was a resident of Punjab and he was given death sentence by a Pakistani court for alleged spying charges and killing at least 14 Pakistani citizens in bomb blasts in Pakistan’s Punjab province in 1990. This claim was refuted by the Indian government and his family.

Sarabjit Singh’s family had always said that he had crossed the Pakistan border by mistake and that he was no spy but a farmer in the border area.

Sarabjit Singh’s daughter Swapandeep has also reacted to the killing of Sarfaraz and said was satisfied by the development but then added that “this was not justice”.

Talking about Randeep Hooda, he was recently seen playing the role of Indian freedom fighter Veer Savarkar in the movie ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’.

During the shoot of Sarabjit, Randeep had met with Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur to know about him. He had also lost weight to look the part during that time.
