IIM Kozhikode

An autonomous public business school, IIM Kozhikode is offering a course on ‘Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence’. With more than 350 pre-recorded videos and numerous assignments and quizzes, IIM-K is looking for early-level managers to effectively lead end-to-end Machine Learning, and AI projects and solve complex business problems. A minimum graduation or diploma (10+2+3) in any discipline is necessary along with a basic understanding of mathematics and statistics.

The institute is offering the programme for eight months in an online mode. The fee of the course is approx Rs 1,50,000 and GST will be charged at checkout. The deadline for the course is April 17. Here’s how interested candidates can apply:

Google is offering a course on machine learning which is free till the foundational stages. With more than 30 exercises, 25 lessons, and real-world case studies, the programme is for 15 hours. Irrespective of educational background, candidates who are interested in upgrading their careers, can register and start the course.

With the basics of machine learning to generalisation, logistic regression, and data dependencies, the course covers all a candidate needs to know for a successful career in machine learning. Here’s how applicants can unlock the course:

• Once selected, search for a start course option.
• The link will direct towards another page.
• This way candidates can start their foundation stage of the course with ‘Introduction to Machine Learning’. 

Udemy 

This Udemy course will help beginners to get hands-on from basic to advanced level. The course is divided into 16 lectures divided into five sections. Interested candidates need to have knowledge of scripting, programming and python. With a duration of six hours, the fee of the course is Rs 1799. This programme will be accessible both from mobile phone and TV.

Applicants will learn how to use NumPy, to do fast mathematical calculations in machine learning, use scikit-learn for data-preprocessing, cluster analysis and anomaly detection in machine learning, along with different model selection and feature selection techniques.

Harvard University 

The Ivy League varsity in collaboration with edX has launched a course on ‘Data Science: Machine Learning’. Interested candidates can access the course free till June 5, however they have to pay a sum of money to get a certificate of completion. The self paced machine learning course will help candidates to learn cross-validation to avoid overtraining, popular machine learning algorithms, how to build a recommendation system and what is regularisation and its usage.

With the duration of eight weeks, the course is in English language with various video transcripts including Hindi, Français, Español among others. Interested candidates have to follow below mentioned steps to access the course:

• Once selected, candidates will have to click on the most suitable time to complete the course.

IIT Kanpur

India’s premier institute IIT Kanpur is offering a professional certificate course in AI and Machine Learning. Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with an average score of at least 50 per cent, should have prior knowledge or experience in programming and mathematics and is preferable to have two plus years of formal work experience in the same field.

The 11 month course offers knowledge about ChatGPT, OpenAI, Dall-E, Midjourney and other tools, applied data science with Python, deep learning with Keras, and TensorFlow, among others. The fees of the course is approx Rs 1,53,400. Here’s how to apply at the course:

• To start the application, students have to fill in information like name, phone number and years of experience.

Intel

One of the world’s largest manufacturers of central processing units and semiconductors, Intel is offering free courses on machine learning. Candidates across educational background and professional experience can access the materials provided by the company. The duration of the course is 13 months.
