‘Crakk’ Day 1 box office: Vidyut Jammwal film earns Rs 4 crore on opening day

The promotions for Vidyut Jammwal’s ‘Crakk: Jeetega Toh Jeeyega’ had been in full swing before the film released in theatres on February 23. Now, the opening day numbers for the film are here, and the numbers are disappointing, considering the fact that it was made on a decent  budget.

‘Crakk’ managed to collect Rs 4 crore on its opening day. While morning and afternoon shows had dismal occupancy, it grew significantly for the night shows. However, it looks like Yami Gautam and Priya Mani-starrer ‘Article 370’ has an upper hand at the box-office on the opening day, since it managed to collect Rs 5.75 crore on Day 1. Interestingly, the budget for ‘Article 370’ is lower than ‘Crakk’.

It is the Saturday and Sunday numbers that will decide the fate of the film for sure. It is also interesting to note that for Vidyut, ‘Crakk’ has made more money than his last release ‘IB71’, which had earned a mere Rs 1.5 crore on Day 1.

Apart from Vidyut Jammwal, ‘Crakk’ also features Nora Fatehi, Arjun Rampal and Amy Jackson.
