In the last few days, there have been a lot of rumours regarding the launch of the Poco F6, successor to the Poco F5 that was launched in May 2023. The Poco F6 will reportedly be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3 which made its debut in China on April 10 this year. While the Poco F6 is yet to be officially confirmed by the brand, details of Poco F6 Pro have also started emerging. As per recent reports, the phone has been spotted on FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which is a major certification website.Â

A report by MySmartPrice says that they have spotted the Poco F6 Pro on FCC. According to the listing, the upcoming smartphone could include a 4880mAh battery. It is also expected to come pre-loaded with HyperOS 1.0. Additionally, the device is expected to offer support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks.

The listing also shows that the phone might come with model number 23113RKC6G. The MySmartPrice report adds that this is similar to the model number of Redmi K70, which was launched in China in November 2023. If this is true, the Poco F6 Pro could have specifications similar to the Redmi K70. Â

Talking about the specifications, the Poco F6 Pro could be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, supported by an Adreno 740 GPU and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The phone, like Redmi K70, could feature a 120Hz OLED screen with a 2K resolution, offering a peak brightness of 4000 nits and support for Dolby Vision.Â

For photography enthusiasts, the device could come with 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 800 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone could also support 120W fast charging, aided by a Surge P2 charging chip. In the front, there could be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

The Poco F6 Pro is anticipated to run on Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0. Additional potential features for the phone include an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security, and an IR blaster for added functionality. These expected specifications make the PocoF6 Pro a much-anticipated release in the smartphone market.

It is to be noted that Poco hasn’t officially shared any details about the phone’s launch yet. Hence, we should wait for the official announcement before getting too excited.Â
