Issue of misleading advertisements case against Patanjali Arvind MD Ajay Balakrishna and its co-founder Baba Ramdev. The Supreme Court today asked Patanjali Arava whether its recent apology newspapers match the scale of its full page product campaign. Take us through the key proceedings in court today. The key arguments that the court really made today, considering that there was a massive apology that was issued last time by Patanjali, in fact, even the time before that. It’s in marathon hearings going on. Today was another marathon hearing and in this today, once again Supreme Court pulled up both Acharya Balakrishna, MD of Patanjali and Papa Ramdev who is the co-founder and the yoga guru. Supreme Court said why your apologies as big as your advertisements given in leading newspapers? Well, that is some contentious issue going on. Misleading advertisements were given last December and Supreme Court is clearly not satisfied with the apology. They were asked earlier to come and be present in the court and that’s what happened today as well. Not apart from that an important development I am a Indian Medical Association was also today taken in a very strong manner by Supreme Court telling them that get your house in order as well why you doctors prescribe expensive allopathy medicines to customers. So in a way Supreme Court is not being lenient in this case at all and it is not an easy walk away from here for both Patanjali’s Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna.
