‘Paradha’ first look: Anupama Parameswaran and Darshana Rajendran to play the leads in female-oriented drama

Directed by Praveen Kandregula, ‘Paradha’ promises to be a staunch female-oriented drama, with Darshana Rajendran making her Telugu cinema debut alongside Anupama.

The revelation of the film’s title was made by none other than actor Samantha and the acclaimed writer-director duo Raj & DK. The first look poster features Anupama Parameswaran draped in a traditional saree, surrounded by a group of girls whose faces are concealed with saree veils, hinting at the intriguing narrative to come.
Shot across diverse locations such as Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and rural villages, the filming of ‘Paradha’ is now in its final phase in Hyderabad, scheduled for May. Director Praveen, known for his previous work in ‘Cinema Bandi,’ is set to deliver another compelling narrative with this film.
The creative team behind ‘Paradha’ includes music composer Gopi Sundar, scriptwriters Poojitha Sreekanti and Prahaas Boppudi, with Krishna Prathyusha providing additional expertise in script editing. Mridul Sujit serves as the Director of Photography, while Dharmendra Kakarala takes on editing duties.
Meanwhile, Anupama Parameswaran’s recent success with ‘Tillu Square’ has further heightened anticipation for her role in ‘Paradha,’ leaving audiences eagerly awaiting the film’s release.
