Gobble, gobble, folks! Turkey Day is right around the corner and that means the Detroit Lions will get to strut their 8-2 record on the national stage.
This Lions team has slowly become America’s darlings as the once-lowly Lions have soared into Super Bowl contention. Their opponent this Thanksgiving will be their division rivals, the Green Bay Packers, the same team that has tormented them atop the NFC North for years. Now, the roles are reversed though. The Lions are the favorites, and they are in the mood to impose the same torment to the Packers that Green Bay laid upon them for decades.
With a flurry of elite playmakers, Detroit is sure to run up the score. It will be up to Jordan Love and his band of merry men to keep up. Here are the anytime touchdown odds for Thursday’s contest.

Best Anytime TD Bets for Packers-Lions:
Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery (-145)
Even as rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs has developed a more consistent role in this offense, David Montgomery remains head coach Dan Campbell’s favorite weapon near the goal-line. Although Gibbs might be the more explosive back, Montgomery still gets used heavily. The former Chicago Bear has scored a touchdown in two straight and has six touchdowns in his last five games.
The Packers are just two weeks removed from surrendering two touchdowns to the Pittsburgh Steelers backfield, and this Lions team is much more efficient on the ground than them. Expect both Gibbs and Montgomery to reach the end zone. Montgomery will earn you a little more money though.
Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed (+220)
Slowly but surely, Jayden Reed is becoming a versatile weapon in this Green Bay offense. In Week 11, Reed not only caught four of six targets for 46 yards, but he was also given three rushing attempts.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is getting creative with his rookie receiver. He’s now scored a touchdown in two straight games and with how the Packers are designing plays specifically for Reed to show off his skill set, three is definitely a possibility. Of all Packers, I feel most secure about betting on Reed.
Green Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs (+215)
Romeo Doubs isn’t as explosive as his teammate Christian Watson, but he seems to be a much more reliable target. Doubs has been the best pass-catcher for the Packers this season. Any time you can snag the No. 1 option in a passing attack at +215, you take those odds…unless of course their quarterbacks are Mac Jones, Kenny Pickett, or Tommy DeVito.
Doubs has scored a touchdown in four of his last five games and has received at least five targets in each of those games. He’s the most consistent wide receiver in Green Bay and that makes him the most reliable option for a touchdown on Thursday.
