New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the United Arab Emirates from Tuesday onwards. During his two-day visit, PM Modi will be inaugurating the historic BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.
This will be PM Modi’s seventh visit to the UAE during which he is expected to engage in bilateral talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During his visit from February 13 to 15, 2024, PM Modi and President Al Nahyan are expected to conduct talks which will focus on deepening and strengthening the strategic partnership between UAE and India.
As per the official release, PM Modi will also meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Defence Minister of the UAE.
During his UAE Visit, M Modi would attend the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai as a guest of honour and deliver a special keynote address.
Apart from this, one of the major highlights of PM Modi’s visit is the inauguration of the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.
The BAPS Hindu Mandir Inauguration comes almost after a month after the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
The BAPS Mandir, which is expected to be the largest Hindu temple in the UAE, has been constructed with seven pillars – each representing an emirate of the UAE. The temple will be inaugurated on February 14, 2024, and will be open to the public from March 1, 2024, onwards.
Following the inauguration of the BAPS Mandir, PM Modi will address the Indian diaspora in UAE during an event in Zayed Sports city in Abu Dhabi.
