Bank holidays in March 2024: Full list
March 2024 is going to be a month of numerous bank holidays in India. During this month, banks across the country will remain closed for a total of at least 14 days. These holidays will include public holidays, some regional holidays, second and fourth Saturdays, and Sundays. The decision to observe these holidays is taken by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and state governments.
It is important to note that some of these holidays will be observed as per the local customs of different regions in India. Therefore, the number and types of holidays may vary in different states. If you are planning to visit a bank or carry out any banking transactions during this month, it is advisable to check with your local bank branch to confirm their working hours and availability.

March 25: Holi (except Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Manipur, Kerala, Nagaland, Bihar, Srinagar)
March 29: Good Friday (except Tripura, Assam, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh)
State Holidays:
March 22: Bihar Diwas (Bihar)
March 26: Yaosang second day/Holi (Odisha, Manipur, Bihar)
March 27: Holi (Bihar)
