Mohit Raina, Roshan Mathew, Sarah Jane Dias to star in ‘Kan Khajura
The Hindi adaptation of the Israeli crime drama ‘Magpie’, titled ‘Kan Khajura’ will soon be stream on SonyLiv. The series is produced by Yes Studios, which has earlier bankrolled Indian adaptations of Kvodo (Your Honor) and Fauda (Tanaav).
‘KAN KHAJURA’ CAST UNVEILED
SonyLiv unveiled the cast of ‘Kan Khajura’ on January 17, which includes Mohit Raina, Roshan Mathew, Sarah Jane Dias, Mahesh Shetty, Ninad Kamat, Trinetra Haldar, Heeba Shah, and Usha Nadkarni.
Speaking about the show, Mohit Raina said, “Being part of a thriller is always exciting yet demanding for any actor. My character has various shades associated with it and that has been a great responsibility to portray. To get into the skin of the character, we tried on various looks that brought out a well-etched character.”
ABOUT ‘KAN KHAJURA’
Kan Khajura is produced by Ajay Rai and directed by Chandan Arora. The show is in the Original Format under a license granted by Yes Studios. Created by Adam Bizanski, Omri Shenhar, and Dana Eden, the show will explore the complexities of fractured familial ties, touching on themes of betrayal, redemption, and the resilience of the human spirit.
ABOUT ‘MAGPIE’
Created by Yes TV and Donna and Shula Productions, ‘Magpie’ unravels the tale of Asa Katz. Having served 17 years behind bars for murder, he secures an early release with the stipulation that he acts as a police informant, commonly referred to as a magpie. Upon returning to his former neighborhood and reuniting with his older brother, Asa endeavors to strike a delicate balance between his criminal existence and his covert role as an informant. Navigating these two contrasting worlds, he seeks to leverage each to his advantage.
