Stock Under Rs 100: BCL Industries shares today gained amid firm buying in the domestic equity market. The smallcap stock opened flat at Rs 57.30 on NSE and went on to hit day’s high at Rs 60.20, up more than 5 per cent.

Around noon, the ethanol marker’s shares traded firmly in the green near day’s high at Rs 59.30 apiece, up 3.25 per cent. As many as 10 lakh equities changed hands around the same time.

BCL Industries shares today gained after 10 days of consecutive fall. The scrip is trading higher than 5-day, 20-day and 200-day moving averages but lower than 50-day and 100-day moving averages.

BCL Industries is one of India’s largest grain-based distilleries, including Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) and ethanol manufacturers.

FIIs have significantly increased their stake in the company in the previous financial year. According to details available, FIIs in the December quarter of FY24 hiked their stake to 5.88 per cent from 1.66 per cent in the preceding quarter.

The smallcap stock has multiplied investors money by a whopping 517 per cent in the last 5 years. In 10 years, the scrip has skyrocketed a massive 3,471 per cent.

BCL Industries shares have a 52-week range of Rs 86.25 – Rs 41.70. The company commands a market cap of Rs 1,591.65 crore.
