A tornado wrecked the Garner Industries building in Lincoln, Nebraska before moving towards Omaha. An emergency was issued in multiple parts of the state as the large twister caused damage. Garner Industries is located near N 98th Street and Cornhusker Highway between Lincoln and Waverly.

Visuals from Lincoln, posted on social media, showed severe damage done to the building. However, it is unclear if there were any injuries. An ambulance was seen on the scene.

Meanwhile, a tornado warning has been issued for multiple Nebraska counties. It will remain in effect until 4:15 PM local time for the following counties: Antelope, Boone, Butler, Cass, Douglas, Gage, Jefferson, Madison, Platte, Saline, Sarpy, Saunders and Seward.

The tornadoes in Nebraska and northeast Texas on Friday caused significant damage. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado emergency for multiple counties. One twister went past Lincoln, leaving behind debris on the I-80. It was also spotted in Waverly.

Residents in Omaha have been asked to take shelter immediately. At least two tornadoes were observed in Texas Friday afternoon, one northeast of Waco.

According to its website, Gardner Industries ‘began as a small tool and die company in 1953. Over the years, the company expanded its offering into high-volume CNC machining, injection molding products, and level control’. The company has not issued a statement on the damage done by the tornado yet.
