Après plusieurs départs depuis Neerpede vers Genk, Jesper Fredberg tient sa revanche. Celui qu’on considère comme le plus grand talent de Belgique fait le chemin inverse.

Ces dernières années, Neerpede a connu un véritable exode. Et souvent, c’est le Racing Genk qui en a profité : Mika Godts, Bilal El Khannouss, Konstantinos Karetsas ou encore tout récemment Jelle Driessen ont quitté Anderlecht pour le Limbourg.

Si on y ajoute le fameux épisode de Tolu Arokodare lors du mercato hivernal 2023, Jesper Fredberg avait un sacré œuf à peler avec Genk. Et il tient une petite revanche.

Bennane quitte Genk pour Anderlecht 

Depuis plusieurs mois, on parle énormément, en Belgique, du (très) jeune Ilyes Bennane (13 ans). L’entourage du joueur a entamé un lobby plutôt efficace pour que le jeune milieu offensif soit présenté comme “le plus grand talent de Belgique” dans la presse, et son avenir s’écrivait en pointillés.

Il y a un mois de cela, Bennane claquait en effet la porte après un match avec les U15 du Racing Genk. Celui qui était devenu en février le plus jeune international belge U15 de l’histoire allait continuer sa carrière ailleurs, et de nombreux clubs étaient sur le coup. Restait à savoir si ce serait en Belgique ou à l’étranger.

Selon le Nieuwsblad, c’est finalement… Anderlecht qui va en profiter. Ilyes Bennane devrait rejoindre les U15 du RSC Anderlecht où il continuera sa progression, notamment sur le plan physique. Un choix qui signifie une chose : l’entourage du joueur a dû se mettre sur la même longueur d’ondes que Jesper Fredberg, directeur sportif du RSCA, dont la politique avec les jeunes est très claire ces dernières années.

En effet, aucun passe-droit n’est plus accordé aux grands talents de Neerpede sous la direction du Danois. Si Bennane veut obtenir un premier contrat professionnel et être chouchouté à ses débuts, il devra le gagner à la sueur de son front. Et c’est peut-être bien la clé de son succès futur !
