Ageless beauty tips: 3 makeup techniques for mature skin
As we age, your skin naturally changes and our beauty routine should change too. So we brought in a pro to help us look our best at every age. You know who's here? Trini Woodall is the founder of Trinity London Beauty. She's also a best selling author. And now she's got a new book, which we love the title of Fearless, Not Fearless. Fearless. Tell us about The Less. It's a manual of everything I learned over 30 years about being a phenomenal, ageless woman. And it deals with life. So if you've lost a bit of your own pound, you get it back. It deals with beauty. It deals with skin care, makeup, and it deals with fashion. So all amazing beer thing. OK, love it. So let's start with Sarah. And we're we're talking about the eyes. We're talking about the eyes. Sarah, Classic. I can always look at a lovely lady and say which side you sleep on. Sarah sleeps on this side so we can get extra hooding. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna do the three things that I think help when we feel we've got a hooded eye. Oh, hang on. There we go. Sorry. The first thing is you want to create a stronger tie line and you're gonna pull up the lash. You can do this yourself and you're just gonna do an extra little bit of accentuation to get some focus back to the eye, on the inside, the eye. And you only go halfway across like that. So we've got immediately a focus. Then we're gonna go and we're gonna just improve the brow and we're going to lift the brow, 'cause we can fake the arch. And when I use a brush and when I use a pencil, I go against these shapes. Oh, I do it the wrong way. Yeah. And I go above the eyebrow. So I'm just gonna add in that little extra arch. And I don't make, you know, we can all make mistakes. We never have time. But I've just given a lift look that looks like that. And then I'm just gonna take a little fluffy brush really easy. Or you can do your finger and I'm just going to close your eye or always lift up, lift up the lift up the curtain. And I just put that in and I wash it from side to side like that. And then I just take my finger and I bring it up, bring it up, bring it up, bring it up. Don't be scared. And you just have that lift. And then at the end, you can do that with your finger and you've got the lift. So we've now created Gorgeous Forge. I mean, you to help that. You were pretty before, Angela, OK We can be really scared of wearing a bright lip. You've never worn a bright lip, have you? And I just think bright lips can own a room. So how do we prep our lip if we feel Angela has beautiful lips? I'm just challenged to find issues with, but many women feel they have lines on their lips. So I'm going to take Miracle Blur, which is a phenomenal product, and I just literally bang it on all over her lips. I mean, your skin is gorgeous, incredible skin. But some people have lip lines and it's not because they might have smoked. It's just we're born one way or the other. Yeah. And so you also need a primer because there's a fear that your lip will bleed. So you just want to cover it in something, which is gonna stop the bleeding. And then you take a nice big brush and you put on a colour and always think. When we think of a lip, a lot of us think, oh, I can't wear a red lip, but a bright lip is what you want to think about. You want to be able to look how pretty that colour is, the eye colour, and really show off that eye colour. And this pink, this is called Pookie. This is such a beautiful shade. This is named after my niece Pookie. OK. And then at the end, I'm just going to get you, 'cause we don't have time here. Just but you can get a sense. And then, wow, that was scared of wearing a bright lip. You just then take a tiny bit on your cheek as well and you bring it together. Look how beautiful That looks. Really good. I know it's very challenging for me to do this on camera, but you get that sense of it. Beautiful. She's owning the room. You're owning it the room. And here we have Natasha Toy, Such a pro with makeup. She's been done by Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury. So I'm like in awe. But with your tour, it's about elevation. So there's three points of elevation. One is to use contour. So I'm just, Oh my goodness, I put a lot on there. So I'm just going to take the contour and I'm going to rub it in that this is to start at the start at the top because I want to create that shape which frames the face. So you go higher up there like that and you frame it and then when you do contour at the side you feel your cheekbone and you do this J. So you're sort of coming up like that. Uh huh. So I sometimes when I'm doing it myself, I go like that and I go up, alright. So beautiful age that then you might want to do a little bit on the jawline and you just go, oh, do you jawline? Oh, and you go the jawline and we just create that shape. Gorgeous. And then we blend it in, but it's like we give you a little bit of a lift. And then last but not least, the elevator, which is an unbelievable elevating, gravity, defying neck product. And I'm just going to go in there and I'm just going to lift like a massage. I like that. Then you just go, there you go have your good jawline here. Yeah, exactly. The jawline really lifts. You're feeling like that. Looks like it feels really good like that. And then I'm gonna end with a tiny bit of blusher. And when you put blusher on, you have a heart-shaped face, darling. So I'm gonna do blusher. That starts here. Blusher. And then I'm going to elevate the cheek with a bit more and lift it. Beautiful. You're gorgeous. Yeah.
