JioCinema Premium subscription plans announced, price starts at Rs 29

JioCinema is stepping up its game in the entertainment world with the launch of its new subscription service, ‘JioCinema Premium’. Tackling issues like device limitations, poor video quality, and pricey subscriptions, the platform is offering plans starting at just Rs. 29/month. These plans promise an ad-free experience, up to 4K video quality, and the ability to watch content offline. Members can enjoy a range of exclusive series, movies, Hollywood blockbusters, kids’ shows, and TV entertainment on any device, including smart TVs.

In a move to cater to families, JioCinema also introduced a ‘Family’ plan priced at Rs. 89/month. This plan allows access on four screens simultaneously. Current JioCinema Premium members will automatically get upgraded to the ‘Family’ plan at no extra charge.

While sports content, including the ongoing Indian Premier League, remains free with ads, JioCinema Premium offers exclusive benefits. Members will get access to top international content dubbed in local languages. This includes popular series like Game Of Thrones and House Of The Dragon, as well as movies from major studios like Peacock, HBO, Paramount, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

The platform also boasts a vast collection of kids’ and family entertainment, with titles ranging from Motu Patlu and Shiva to Pokémon and Peppa Pig. JioCinema ensures a safe viewing environment for kids with its parental control features.

For those who love original content and blockbuster movies, JioCinema Premium has got you covered. With upcoming series like Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond and Murder In Mahim, members can expect new series premieres every month. Plus, the platform promises a Bollywood blockbuster premiere every month, starting with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke in May.

JioCinema Premium members will also get early access to content from Colors, Nickelodeon, and other Viacom18 Network channels, including serials before they air on TV.
