‘Animal’ advance bookings: The Ranbir Kapoor starrer collects Rs 3.4 crore; sells 52,500 tickets days before its release

Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film, ‘Animal’ has been one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The release of its blockbuster trailer has now raised the anticipation and excitement levels amongst the fans.

Even five days before its release, the film has already started raking in moolah at the box office. According to a report in Scanilk.com, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has already raked in Rs 3.4 crores as advance ticket sales and sold over 5000 tickets.

In less than 24 hours since the advance booking for Animal was initiated, the film has already secured ticket sales amounting to Rs 3.4 crore across all three languages – Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The Hindi advance booking takes the lead with Rs 3.6 crore, followed by Rs 33 lakh in Telugu and Rs 13,510 in Tamil.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Rashmika Mandanna have a strong influence on the Telugu-speaking audience, so the advance booking for the Telugu version of the film is much higher than that of the Tamil version. However, Ranbir Kapoor has a massive following in Hindi, particularly after recent hits like Brahmastra and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. As a result, it’s expected that Animal will achieve similar or even better numbers in Hindi.

The makers initiated the advance booking for’ Animal’ on Saturday in anticipation of its December 1 release. The pan-India film, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for directing ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’, features a star-studded cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri.
