Amit Shah Infosys Dividend 2024: Home Minister Amit Shah recently filed his affidavit for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, which revealed his massive stock holdings. The BJP leader has a portfolio of over 250 stocks, which collectively are worth a whopping Rs 18 crore. While Shah owns shares of around 180 companies which includes unlisted ones as well, his wife Sonal owns equity in around 80 companies.

The recently released affidavit revealed that the Shah owned stocks worth around Rs 17.46 crore while his wife owns stocks of around Rs 20 crore. The top 10 stocks owned by the Shah couple include Canara Bank, Procter & Gamble Hygiene And Health Care, Karur Vyasa Bank, among others.
Apart from this, the home minister’s personal equity portfolio showed that he is also invested in ITC, VIP Industries, Infosys, Grindwell Norton, Cummins India and Kansai Nerolac Paints. His unlisted portfolio is worth Rs 3 lakh.

Shah has also invested in IT major Infosys, owning 2970 equity shares of the company. As of April 15, 2024, Shah’s holding in Infosys is worth Rs 43.6 lakh. Recently, the company declared its quarterly earnings for the January-March 2024 quarter and announced its highest-ever dividend payout of Rs 28 per share.
So, how much will the home minister make from the upcoming dividend payout by Infosys.

Shah could make a Rs 83,160 from the dividend the IT company pays to its eligible shareholders. People who own the Infosys stock as of the record date will be considered eligible to receive the Rs 20 final and Rs 8 special dividend for the financial year 2024.

Bengaluru-based IT major Infosys said that the record date for the purpose of the Annual General Meeting and payment of final dividend and special dividend is May 31, 2024.
