infosys co-founder narayana murthy shares two crucial factors for a company’s longevity

NR Narayana Murthy, the co-founder of Infosys, shared valuable insights on the critical factors contributing to a company’s long-term success. Speaking at the ‘Day Zero 2024’ event hosted by Log9 Materials, a leading deep technology and advanced battery technology startup in Bengaluru, Murthy highlighted the significance of market access and talent acquisition.

Murthy underscored the paramount importance of market access for sustaining a company’s longevity. He stressed that regardless of the brilliance of an idea, it holds no value unless the company can effectively penetrate and expand its reach in the market. “Unless a company increases its access to the market, however great your idea is, it is of zero value,” TOI quoted Murthy in its report. He added that market outreach plays in the success trajectory of a business.

In addition to market access, Murthy emphasized the indispensability of acquiring top-notch talent. He emphasized that the true worth of a company lies in its ability to attract, nurture, and retain the best minds in the industry, TOI added.

“A company is worth zilch unless it brings the best quality minds. Because it is the power of human minds that innovates and brings to the table,” Murthy asserted, accentuating the critical role of human capital in driving innovation and growth.

Narayana Murthy’s insightful remarks were delivered during the ‘Day Zero 2024’ event organized by Log9 Materials. The event served as a platform for industry leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and insights on the future of technology and business.
