New Delhi: With Lok Sabah Elections 2024 approaching, TIMES NOW has begun scouting across the country to ascertain what matters to the voter most in these polls. These issues will drive the elections as voters prepare to exercise their franchise in seven phased polls staring April 19.
With just two days remaining for the first phase, TIMES NOW-ETG Research surveyed the Western region and found that inflation is the biggest issue for voters here followed by Hindutva, unemployment and nationalism.
The TIMES NOW-ETG Research survey, 22 per cent of voters said inflation is their prime concern going forward the upcoming elections. On the other hand, 21 per cent said Hindutva is main issue for them while unemployment, with 16 per cent, turned out to be the third important issue for the voters.
For 15 per cent of voters, nationalism is the core issue that will impact their voting strategy whereas growth is the main concern for 14 per cent of voters surveyed.
Apart from these, corruption and polarisation were core issues for 7 and 3 per cent of voters and 2 per cent voters had some other important issues that is crucial for them in the elections.
