Growth closely followed, with 21% of participants expressing apprehension about the scope and pace of development in the region. Hindutva also ranked high on the list, with 18% of respondents highlighting it as a crucial issue.

Unemployment seems to be a major concern in eastern India, with 15% of respondents citing it as a key deciding factor when casting their vote.

While nationalism garnered 12% of responses, corruption and polarization were identified as lesser concerns, each accounting for 5% of responses.
