‘I’m Pilibhit’s son’: Varun Gandhi’s emotional letter after BJP snub
Varun Gandhi, the BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit who was dropped from the list of Lok Sabha candidates for the 2024 election, stated on Thursday that he will continue to serve the people in his constituency and his door is always open.
In an “emotional” letter issued today, Gandhi referred to himself as “Pilibhit’s son” and stated he is “ready to pay any price” to continue serving the people. Â
“I am emotional today. I came to Piliphit for the first time in 1983. Piliphit is my family, my karmabhoomi. I raised my voice for the interests of you people,” he said.
“I will continue to serve as a son, not as an MP. My doors will always be open to you. I will keep doing it, even if I have to pay any price for it,” the BJP MP said.
