'I Still Remember That Song': Rohit Sharma Calls Former IPL Side's Theme Song The Best Ever

IPL 2024: Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has called his former Indian Premier League (IPL) side Deccan Chargers’ theme song the best he has ever heard. The former Deccan Chargers player won the IPL with the franchise in the year 2009, as the iconic side consisted of legends such as Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds, Pragyan Ojha, RP Singh to name a few. The ‘Hitman’ revealed his love for the theme on the podcast of Club Prairie Fire.

Speaking on the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in June, the Indian Cricket Team (ICT) captain revealed that the ongoing rumours in concern with the mega event shall not be trusted and that the information coming out via him, or the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shall be trusted. Adding onto it, he also acknowledged one rumour of him and Kohli opening by stating that the duo “haven’t met so far” and that nothing is decided it.

Adam Gilchrist And Rohit Sharma Relive Good Old Days Of Deccan Chargers And Enjoying Theme Song Of The Team

Adam Gilchrist and Rohit Sharma share a special connection, as the former and then captain of the Deccan Chargers side made Rohit Sharma as the vice-captain of the side, and delivered a bold message across the league by laying down the trust on a 21-year Indian all-rounder, which paid huge dividends as Rohit Sharma not only performed with the bat, but also achieved a legendary feat of taking an IPL hattrick, which came against Mumbai Indians in their title-winning season.

Reliving their old memories and love for the now-discontinued IPL franchise, the duo was seen enjoying the theme song of the Deccan Chargers on the podcast.
