hr shares 4 reasons why employees leave in 6 months, internet gives a thumbs up

The post resonated with many LinkedIn users.

It’s that time of the year when the employees look at their bosses with the hope of an increment in their annual income. Expecting a reward for their contribution to the company, the employees undergo performance evaluation and feedback sessions. On the other hand, employers roll out different parameters to ensure that employees are neither underpaid or overpaid. Amidst this, a LinkedIn post by an HR Executive has come to the fore, grabbing eyeballs. The post includes reasons behind the decision of an employee to leave a job in six months.

Bharti Pawar, an HR Executive at Impact Infotech Pvt Ltd, dropped a list of reasons leading an employee to quit the company. In her post, she wrote, “Employees don’t join to quit the company in 6 months or a year.” Further listing down the reasons, she added, “They quit because…Toxic work culture, Less salary, unpaid overtime, Work pressure beyond their limit, Nepotism and office politics.” Underlining the unfavourable situations in the office, she concluded her post with, “No one likes frequent job quit, the environment forced them to do so.”

Within hours of being shared, the post spread like wildfire. The users, seemingly, couldn’t agree more with Ms Pawar’s words full of wisdom. A section of people appreciated the HR whereas a few others sealed the opportunity to share their own story.

One of the users expressed, “Every company must be evaluated well on Glassdoor and through other third-party means before we join. Why should only employers have the right of refusal? Employees should have it, too, and there should be stringent laws or regulatory measures to sue bad employers.”

Another individual suggested, “Difficult to disagree. However, moving from job to job is increasingly becoming a surer way to increase earning potential in a highly competitive talent environment.” Meanwhile, a LinkedIn user highlighted the toxic work culture revealing how his manager scolds him and other colleagues in a demeaning manner, testing their patience.
